All rides are free for St. Louis Recreational Cyclists members. Non-members must join by their second ride.
Starting Location: Stacy Park – Old Bonhomme, Olivette, MO
Rest Rooms: Available at Stacy Park Start.
Time of Departure: 8:00 am
Description: Nice, low traffic route with some bike lanes, good shoulders, or 4 lane roads with plenty of room for cars to pass. There might be a couple of tight spots but traffic is pretty sparse on Sundays.
Ride Leader’s Expectations & Objectives: Speed: About 14 to 15 mph Average. Some stretches 18 – 19 mph. Distance – 34.2 miles. Elevation: 1442′ Hills: A few steep ones but I can get up them with no problem. You should be able also. Riding time: Approx. 2:45 Time on course: Maybe 3 hours or so
Directions to start:
From I-170:
- Go West on Olive 1.5 mi to Old Bonhomme.
- Left on Bonhomme approx. 1/4 mi to Stacy Park on your right
From I-270:
- Go East on Olive 3.3 mi to Old Bonhomme
- Right on Old Bonhomme .2 mi to Stacy Park Entrance
Cue Sheet: Sunday Morning Stacy Park Airport Loop 34.2
All participants are expected to bring either the cue sheet, a cycling computer with the ride’s Navigation files and/or Smartphone with GPS link. Riders should be able to find their way back if something unforeseen happens.
Print a cue sheet if you want one.

Stops: Rest/Food at Love’s Travel Plaza at 14.6 miles. Rest Rooms at Stacy Park at the Start. Ride Leader will share where other rest rooms are along the way. Regroup stops as needed.
Road Hazards: Might be on a busy road for a little bit.
Weather Considerations: Ride will be canceled if raining at start time, forecast looks sketchy, too hot or windy. Please watch the weather forecasts and radar.
