Starting Location: Schnucks Market Place Columbia, IL
Time of Departure: 8:00 AM
Description: Rolling ride through pleasant, southern Illinois back roads with the Belleville Panera Bread CO as our rest destination.
Ride Leader’s Expectations: Speed – 15 to 17 mph Average. 13 to 14 mph if there is a 2nd flight. Drafting – We like to work together and will be drafting on this ride. Distance – 48.9 miles. Elevation: 1823′ of climbing depending on route. This ride has rolling hills, and some longer grades.
2nd Flight: Please let us know if you are interested in leading a 2nd Flight on this ride so it can be posted.
Directions:
- From I-55 and I-255 in South St. Louis County go 6.0 miles southeast across the Jefferson Barracks Bridge on I-255.
- Exit IL Hwy 3 South, go 2.2 miles and turn right on Veterans Parkway @ McDonald’s.
- Go 0.1 mile and turn left on Columbia Center just past Regions Bank.
- Turn right into the Schnucks MarketPlace parking lot.
- We usually park out away from the Pediatric Dentistry storefront.

Stops: Re-Group stops as needed. Belleville rest Stop will be the Belleville BreadCO.
Road Hazards: Might be a spot or two of chipseal about.
