All rides are free for St. Louis Recreational Cyclists members. Non-members must join by their second ride. 

Time of Departure:   9:00 AM                  

Description:  Scenic ride from St. Peters Rabbit Run Park through St. Peters, Cottleville, Weldon Spring, and St. Charles.  Lots of twists and turns.

Ride Leader’s Expectations:  Speed –  12 to 13+ mph Average.   Drafting – There may be drafting on this ride. Distance –  40 miles  Elevation:  2050′ of climbing.  This ride has lots of trails, rolling hills, subdivision streets, a few busy roads, some long grades, and a bunch of turns.

Directions:

From I-270:

  • Take Page Avenue west to exit 9.
  • Go Right on Central School Road
  • Go Right on St Peters Howell Rd 
  • Right on Mid Rivers Mall Drive
  • Left on Countryside Drive
  • Left on Mayfield Road
  • Rabbit Run Park on your left.

From I-64:

  • Take I-64 west to Exit 10 – Hwy 94
  • Go right on Hwy 94
  • Take exit to Pittman Hill Rd / Mid Rivers Mall Dr
  • Go left on Pittman Hill / Mid Rivers Mall  Dr
  • Take Mid Rivers Mall Dr to Left on Countryside Dr
  • Go Left on Mayfield Rd .1 mile to Rabbit Run Park

Cue Sheet:  Rabbit Run Cottleville Heritage 40

Please print a copy on both sides if you want one.   All participants are expected to bring either the cue sheet, a cycling computer with the ride’s  Navigation files and/or Smartphone with GPS link. Riders should be able to find their way back if an unforeseeable event happens during this ride.

Stops:  Several stops to re-group. Rest Room opportunity at Phillips 66 at 9.8 miles & 14.2 miles Legacy Park.  Food stop at 17.5 miles QuikTrip, Rest Rooms at 33.4 Phillips 66 or at 36.1 miles QuikTrip.

Road Hazards:  You’ll be on trails, subdivision streets, and some busier roads for a short while.

Weather Considerations:  Ride will be canceled if raining, high winds or a sketchy forecast at start time. Please watch the weather forecasts and radar.  Contact ride leader with questions
