All rides are free for St. Louis Recreational Cyclists members. Non-members must join by their second ride.

For the safety and enjoyment of participants, ride leaders have the responsibility to exclude riders who in their judgement are not in compliance with Club rules or not suited to participate.

Starting Location:  Marsala’s Market – New Town. Parking just north of Rue Royale Street across from Marsalas.

Assembly Time:  9:10 AM

Departure Time:  9:30 AM

Description: Riding from Marsala’s in New Town to Portage des Sioux. Clockwise

Ride Leader’s Expectations & Objectives:  Speed: 13.5 – 14.5 mph Average.  There are stretches where speeds will be greater. Distance – 39 miles.

Special Considerations: Be prepared for cold, windy conditions.

Directions to start from I-270:

  • From I-270 Take Hwy 370 North to St. Charles
  • After 7.2 miles take Exit 5 and go east on New Town Boulevard
  • After 2.5 miles turn right to W. Canal street
  • Continue on Canal St 0.6 miles to Arpent St.
  • Turn right then left at Rue Royale St.
  • Go Left on Civic Circle and park just north of Marsala’s.

Stops:  Quick rest at Smartt Field;  Rest/Snack at Our Lady of the Rivers Portage. No food/drink outlet for purchase.
