STLRC – Upcoming Rides and Events

Starting Location:   Drost Park, Marysville, Il  

Meeting time:  8:30 AM

Time of Departure:  9:00 AM

Description:   We will ride some of the 135 miles of scenic, interconnected, paved Madison and St. Clair county trails. The ride leader will choose the ride route most appropriate for weather and trail conditions. Cue sheet provided by ride leader.  Distance will be 25 to 35 miles. Terrain is almost flat.  An occasional little traveled country road.  We will explore areas of the trail we seldom use. Rest Room at ride start.  Lunch at Wooden Nickel before the end of the ride. A PERFECT DAY FOR A RIDE–FINALLY!

Directions: Be sure to go to this particular parking lot.  There are two others. 

• East on the Poplar St. Bridge (I-64, I-44, I-55, I-70 converge).
• After 2.3 miles keep left to continue on I-55
• After 12 miles take exit 15B for IL Hwy 159N toward Maryville
• After 1.6 miles R on Vadalabene Dr.
• After .4 miles R on Schiber Ct.
• L onto Myron Provence Pkwy to Drost Park.

 Cue Sheet: Ride leader will distribute cue sheet at ride start.

Experience Level:  CAa  Riders of all abilities are welcome

Weather Considerations:  Canceled if raining at start time.  Check the website for cancellations before departure. Start time may be altered in hot weather.
