Starting Location:   Metro east Park and Recreation District Office, 104 United Drive, Collinsville, IL. 62234. Meprd.org.

Meeting time:  9:15  AM

Time of Departure:  9:30 AM

Description:   We will ride 33 of the 135 miles of scenic, interconnected, paved Madison and St. Clair county trails. Distance will be 33 miles. Terrain is almost flat.  Rest Room at ride start.  This will be an all trail ride starting on the Schoolhouse Trail to Goshen and finishing at the of end the Watershed trail near Wanda Road.  Then we will reverse the ride, having lunch in Edwardsville  33 miles all trails.  Cue Sheet not needed.  The trailhead has maps available of the whole system.  Group will stay together–no drop ride.  We will ride around 10-12 mph depending on the groups wishes but no one will be dropped.

Directions: 

• From I-255, take the Horseshoe Lake Road exit (exit #26).
• East on Horseshoe Lake Road for 0.6 miles.
• Turn right on Freedom Drive, and then turn left, at the tee, on United Dr. (unmarked) to the Metro East Park and Recreation parking lot, directly behind Culver’s restaurant.
• From I-70 east, exit at IL Route 157 (exit #11- Collinsville).
• North on Rt. 157 for 0.5 miles.
• Left on United Drive (the road just before Culver’s)
• Right into the Metro East Park and Recreation parking lot
