STLRC – Upcoming Rides and Events

John L. LeCave Hardt Loops 25-28.4-30

Starting Location: John L. LeCave Trailhead Parking – Centaur Road
Time of Departure: 9:00AM
Description: NO DROP 30 mile loop ride for intermediate riders at a slightly slower pace starting at the John LeCave Trailhead on Centaur Road. Ride leader wants to do the 30 mile route.
Rest Rooms: Rest Rooms, at John LeCave start, are not open due to vandalism. Might want to stop at the gas station at Hwy 109 and Wildhorse Creek Road for a pre-ride rest room break. Rest Rooms in Rockwoods Reservation on Glencoe Road at 16.1 miles.
Distance & Elevation: Speed: Probably be 12-13 mph average. Distance: 30 miles Terrain: Average difficulty with one big hill (Hardt Road). Very doable!
Directions:
- From West bound Hwy 40 / I-64, take exit 16.
- Turn right on to Chesterfield Airport Road for 2.1 miles
- Then left @BP Station on to Olive St. which turns into Etherton Rd.
- Right on Centaur Road for .9 miles to John L. LeCave Trailhead parking on right.
Cue Sheet: John L. LeCave Hardt Loops 25 – 28.4 – 30
All participants are expected to bring either the cue sheet, a cycling computer with the ride’s Navigation files and/or Smartphone with GPS link. Riders should be able to find their way back if an unforeseeable event happens during this ride.
Please print a cue sheet if you want one.
Copy all routes into your devices in case we deviate from planned route.
