STLRC – Upcoming Rides and Events

Starting Location: Forest Park Visitors Center, 5595 Grand Drive, St. Louis, MO
Meeting time:  9:45 am
Time of Departure:  10:00 am
Description: We will walk some of the park’s 6+ mile perimeter path with some deviations (maybe walk through the zoo).
Whatever the group wants.  We’ll walk about two hours.  Path is paved and mostly flat
with some gradual hills.  Join Faye Holdenried and Laura Gerren for a walk in the park!  One of the few days that will be good for hiking for awhile.  Time to get out of the house!
Directions:
• The Visitor Center (Dennis and Judith Jones Visitor and
Education Center) (yellow building with clock tower) is behind and to the east of the
Missouri History Museum on Lindell Blvd. about halfway between Kingshighway Blvd. and
Skinker
Blvd.
• Park across from the Center. The address is 5595 Grand Drive.  Restrooms are available inside so we’ll meet at the entrance.
Experience Level: EASY
Stops:  stop at the zoo to see animals and/or use the restrooms.
Other: Dogs on leash welcome but won’t be welcome in the zoo.  Bring water and snack to carry with you. Restrooms at Visitors
Center and at the zoo.
