Botanical Gardens/Tower Grove Park HIKE NON CLUB ACTIVITY

Starting Location: Missouri Botanical Gardens Entrance, 4344 Shaw Boulevard, St. Louis, MO
Meeting time: 9:15 am
Time of Departure: 9:30 am
Description: Hike 3 -5 miles (or more). We start at the Gardens this time! Hike the Gardens and and then onto Tower Grove Park, Henry Shaw’s legacy in St Louis City.
Experience Level: EASY
Directions: There are many ways to get to the garden. This is Faye’s way from the west. Please use your GPS to find the best route from your home if you are not familiar with this treasure (Mo Botanical Gardens).
- east on 44 to Vandeventer coming from the west
- exit 287B onto Vandeventer
- Right on Vandeventer for .2 miles
- Left onto Shaw in 300 ft
- Gardens is on your right. Meet outside the entrance.
Experience Level: EASY Paved Paths
Stops: as needed
Other: A member has a membership to the gardens and get a number of us in for free. Otherwise non-members who are residents pay $6. We should have enough free passes for everyone. Lunch at the Gardens is a possibility if there is interest.
