STLRC – Upcoming Rides and Events

Participation in STLRC Rides & Hikes is at your own risk. STLRC assumes no liability.

All rides are free for St. Louis Recreational Cyclists members. Non-members must join by their second ride.

Starting Location:   We will leave from the Wildwood City Hall front parking lot on Main St.  City Hall opens at 8am and they have restrooms.  Contact Dale Markley at 314-971-6555 if you have any questions about parking or start location.

Time of Departure:    8:00 AM

Description:  NO – DROP 23 or 27 mile roundtrip around Wildwood, Rockwoods and Six Flags with about 1734′ or 1776′ of climbing.

Note all hills will be a slow pace if I am in front  –  or others can proceed with their own cue sheet.

Directions:  

To: Wildwood City Hall

  • From westbound Highway 100 – Go Left on Taylor Road
  • Go 2 blocks and then Right on Main Street
  • Parking lot in front of Wildwood City Hall

Cue Sheet:   Wildwood 23 or 27 – Rockwoods – Allenton – Woods

All participants are expected to bring either the cue sheet, a cycling computer with the ride’s  Navigation files and/or Smartphone with RidewithGPS link.  Riders should be able to find their way back if an unforeseeable event happens during this ride.

Please print a cue sheet if you can.  Ride Leaders will have limited extra copies.

Stops:  As needed to stay together and re-group.

Road Hazards:  Might be on a busy road for a little while.

Weather Considerations:  The ride will be canceled and rescheduled if: It’s raining, if a large weather front is moving in, too windy or too cold/hot. We won’t start in the rain.
