STLRC – Upcoming Rides and Events

Participation in STLRC Rides & Hikes is at your own risk. STLRC assumes no liability.

All rides are free for St. Louis Recreational Cyclists members. Non-members must join by their second ride.

Ride Start:  Meet at Orchard Park in St Clair at 8:00 am.

Ride Description: This is a new 40 mile route with 2400′ of elevation gain. There is a restroom stop at 10 miles in Union and a restroom/food stop at 20 miles at Casey’s in St Clair.

This will be at a moderate pace and is a no drop ride.

Directions:

• Take I-44 west to exit 240 for MO-47 toward Union/St Clair
• Left on Hwy 47 S/N Main St
• Cross over I-44
• Left onto S Service Rd approx. .1 miles
• Right on Orchard Drive for .3 miles
• Left on park service road approx. .1 miles
• Park by pavilion with restrooms.

All participants are expected to bring either the cue sheet, a cycling computer with the ride’s Navigation files and/or Smartphone with GPS link.

Weather Considerations:  Ride will be canceled if raining at start time, forecast looks sketchy, too hot/cold or windy. Please watch the weather forecasts and radar.
