All rides are free for St. Louis Recreational Cyclists members. Non-members must join by their second ride.

For the safety and enjoyment of other riders, ride leaders have the responsibility to ask riders, who in their judgement are not in compliance with Club rules or not suited to participate, to leave.

RIDE Starting Location: Lewis and Clark Boathouse.

Assemble: 9:40 am

Time of Departure: 10:00 am

Description:  A 40+ flat ride to Weber Lake. Final average speed 14-15 mph; higher speeds on straights.

Special Considerations: Dress warmly,  bring snacks, water, and bicycle warning lights. 

Directions to Start Point:

From I-70

  • Take 5th St Exit to St. Charles for ~0.4 miles
  • Right on Boone’s Lick Road
  • At S. Riverside Drive keep straight on Boone’s Lick across Katy Trail and tracks
  • Park by the trees on the right

Experience Level: 4Ac:  40 – 50 miles; Flat; Riding speed less than 20 mph, final average 14-15 mph.

Rest Stop: Snack and convenience stop at Smartt Field. Rest stop at Marsala’s mile

Notes:  At this posting time, the expected temperatures will be in the low thirties and quite windy. Check the weather forecast and updates to this posting. The ride will be canceled if adverse weather conditions are likely.
