Starting Location: Queeny Recreational Complex entrance off of Mason Road!!!  Don’t have your GPS take you to the main entrance off of Weidman.  The google map below is accurate to the Mason Road Entrance.  Call leader if you get lost.

Meeting Time: 9:45 am

Time of Departure:  10:00 am

Description: We will hike 4-5 miles of the park’s well-marked trails through a variety of
habitats: woodlands, grasslands. Some hills, gravel as well as dirt trails.

Directions:
• From intersection of 270 and Manchester, head west on Manchester to Mason Road.  There is a stoplight at Mason and Manchester.
• Turn right (north) on Mason Road for about 1 mile to Queeny Park.
• Turn left into park. Parking is immediately on your left.

Experience Level: EASY TO MODERATE 4 – 5 miles. Opportunities to shorten distance if
needed. Some hills.

Stops: Occasional stops to regroup or take a snack break.
 

Other: Heated restrooms open near the parking lot at start of hike.  Later into hike we are near the main building with restrooms available there is a restroom at the final hill back to the cars.  Dogs are welcome but must be  on leash.   Bring snack  and water bottle. Hiking boots or shoes and hiking poles are an option.
