Starting Location:  Dames Park O’Fallon off of Hwy. P about .5 miles west of Main Street

Time of Departure:  10:00AM

Description: Ride from Dames Park, O’Fallon, MO, through Lake St. Louis on the way to Old Monroe to see the piggies along Meier Ride. Today’s ride will have options for 44 or 46 miles. Ride leader wants to see the piggies on the 46 mile route.

Ride Leader’s Expectations:  Speed – 13.5 – 14.5 Average.  Drafting – There will be drafting.  Distance – 44 or 46 miles.  Climbing Elevation: Between 2427 to 2600′ of rolling hills depending on route. This ride has lots of rolling hills and some longer stretches with moderate grades.  Ride Time: 4 hours – time on course 4.5 hours.

Directions:

Head West on I-70  – Exit at exit #218 to E Terra Ln (outer road).

    • Proceed straight .9 miles to right on Main Street.
    • Go north 2.0 miles on Main Street to Hwy P.
    • Turn left on Hwy P and go 0.5 miles to Dames Park entrance on left (Dames Park Plaza sign at entrance)
    • Drive in to parking area.

Experience Level:  4Cb – 4C

Stops: Two rest stops for you – #1 – Huck’s at Lake STL Schnucks. Main rest stop – Old Monroe FastLane on Hwy C in Old Monroe.

Road Hazards: Caution needed at Old Hwy 79 bridge crossing.

Weather Considerations: Ride will be canceled if raining, or high percentage prediction, too cold or high winds. Please watch the weather forecasts and radar. Any doubts, Contact ride leader with questions.

Special Notes:  At the start, rest rooms will be available at Dames Park.
