New Town to Grafton Tour – Time change

Starting Location: Marsala’s Market – New Town. Parking just north of Rue Royale Street across from Marsalas.
Time of Departure: 9:00 AM
Description: Riding from Marsala’s in New Town to visit Grafton and then return through Brussels with a lunch opportunity at AJs in Brussels. This is NOT a Three Ferries ride because the Grafton ferry only runs Thursday through Sunday. However, we will be taking the Brussels ferry twice (Free) and the Golden Eagle Ferry twice so don’t forget to bring $10 for that. They have increased ferry rides to $5 per bike.
Ride Leader’s Expectations: & Objectives: Speed: 14 – 15 mph Average. Remember – this is an average. Many times there are stretches where speeds will increase. Drafting – There will be drafting on this ride. Distance – Approx. 47 miles. Elevation: Approx. 1400′ of climbing.
Directions to start from I-270:
- From I-270 Take Hwy 370 North to St. Charles
- After 7.2 miles take Exit 5 and go east on New Town Boulevard
- After 2.5 miles turn right to W. Canal street
- Continue on Canal St 0.6 miles to Arpent St.
- Turn right then left at Rue Royale St.
- Go Left on Civic Circle and park just north of Marsala’s.
