New Melle – Innsbrook Loop Ride

Starting Location: Sue DiPiano’s Farm – 1501 Hwy D, Foristell MO 63348
Time of Departure: 9:30am
Description: Speed: 13 to 14 mph average. Distance: 47 miles – No short route. Climbing: 2160 feet of climbing with hills and rollers. Scenic terrain. No Drop ride.
Directions:
West Hwy 64, left (southwest) on Hwy 94, Approximately 1 mile to Hwy D, right turn (west), 14 miles to Sue’s home, around a bend on the road (right side) Due to school in session, Hwy 94 traffic from Hwy 64, could take an extra 10 minutes or so. Another option, continue on Hwy 64 to Hwy Z, head south (left) for approximately 6 miles to Hwy D, then right to Sue’s home.
Plenty of parking available. Good idea, to map on phone, hence easier to turn into Sue’s driveway-white 2 story home. Town of New Melle – 4 miles from Sue’s home has a service station, bathrooms available. Bathroom available at Sue’s home.

All participants are expected to bring either the cue sheet, a cycling computer with the ride’s Navigation files and/or Smartphone with GPS link. Riders should be able to find their way back if an unforeseeable event happens during this ride.
Please print a cue sheet if you can. Ride Leader will have limited extra copies.

Stops: Re-group stops as needed. Numerous rest room stops – Phillips 66 in New Melle at 15.9 miles, optional rest rooms at Dollar General at Hwy F & M at 30.3 miles, and rest rooms at Phillips 66 at 45.3 miles.
Weather Considerations: Ride will be canceled if raining at start time or if projected temperatures are too hot or windy. We won’t start in the rain but be advised that it can be raining at your home but not at the ride start location. Please watch the weather forecasts and radar. Always view the web morning of the ride, in case of cancellation due to weather,
Bring electrolyte drinks and snacks along on the ride for proper riding nutrition.
