Starting Location:  Millstadt Liederkranz Park  (East of Millstadt Village Park – See venue map) Park along the tree line on the west side of Main St.  If the rest rooms aren’t open at this park, we’ll stop at the Circle-K on Jefferson at Washington to use the facilities on the way out.

Time of Departure:  8:30AM   

Description:  Riding from Millstadt Liederkranz Park to Freeburg for a quick rest room break and then back over to Smithton for our main rest stop. Then it’s back to the start in Millstadt.

Ride Leader’s Expectations:  Speed: 14.5 – 15+mph Average.   Drafting – There will be drafting on this ride.  Distance:  44.6 or 47.3 miles depending on the return.   Elevation:  Lots of rollers with a total of approx. 1300′ of climbing on both routes.   Riding time: Approx. 3 hours, time on course 4 hours.

2nd Flight:  Leslie McCormick 314-406-8390 is leading a 2nd Flight for this ride starting at 9:15 at a slower pace.  Let Leslie know if you plan on joining her.

Directions:

• I-270/255 SE across the JB Bridge
• Go right at Exit #6 towards Columbia/Hwy 3 south
• Go for 4.3 miles to right exit up and over Hwy 3 onto Hwy 158 towards Millstadt
• Continue onto IL-158 E for 5.6 miles
• Turn left on Main Street.  Go .2 miles
• Liederkranz Park parking along tree line will be on the left

Print a cue sheet if you want one.  Ride Leaders will have just a few.

Important: All participants are expected to bring either the cue sheet, a cycling computer with the ride’s  Navigation files and/or Smartphone with GPS link. If unable to, speak to the Leaders before the start.
