Starting Location:  Lewis & Clark Boathouse parking

Time of Departure:  8:30 AM

Description:   Nice ride from the Lewis & Clark Boathouse looping around Lake 370 and back.

Ride Leader’s Expectations:  Final Speed – 15 – 16 mph Average.   Drafting – There will be drafting on this ride.   Distance – Only one option 48.4 miles  Climbing Elevation: A little bit of climbing out of St. Charles and coming back.  Riding time: Approx. 3.5+ hours, time on course 4 hours.

Varying from Ride Leader’s Expectations: If you want to vary from the above objectives, speed or distance, please formally volunteer and inform ride leader, before start time, to lead a section of the ride for yourself and others at the pace you desire.

Special Considerations during this time:

  • Bring mask to wear if requested
  • Stay home if you feel ill or have been exposed to the Coronavirus.

Directions:

  • Take I-70 west into St. Charles County
  • Exit #229B – 5th Street north for 0.2 mile
  • Right on Boone’s Lick Road for 0.5 mile.
  • Go straight at S. Main Street intersection.
  • Bear slightly right & cross the Katy Trail  to first right to South Parking lot.
  • We usually park by the tree line.
