Starting Location: Grants Trail int Orlando’s parking lot at the Mysun Trailhead

Time of Departure:  8:30 AM sharp   Meetup:  8:10 AM

Description:  Starting at the lower trailhead on  Grant’s Trail near Orlando’s: south to River des Peres Greenway,, continuing on River des Peres to Lemay Park, visiting part of the Park, then continuing to the river and the casino via a half-mile, four lane, wide bridge.  Then transferring a few feet over to the Mississippi Greenway heading downriver to a railhead in the corner of Jefferson Barrack. Views of Mississippi.  Return by same route minus wandering in Lemay Park.  Three hills outbound, two back.  At the casino bridge, option to take the pedestrian-bike path, which is very narrow. Ride is approximately 14 miles

• OBEY APPROPRIATE RESTRICTIONS PER CDC AND LOCAL GOVERNING BODIES.

Experience Level: 3BA

Stops: Restroom break at far end trailhead at 9 miles and if needed at Lemay Park at 5 miles and 11 miles

Road Hazards: Obey all traffic signals. Use caution at all crossings.

Weather Considerations: Canceled if raining at start time, or wind chill predicted for 49F or less.  Check for cancellations on website one hour before departure. Start time or ride length may be altered in hot weather (if expecting 85F or higher).
