Road Hazards: Caution needed at Old Hwy 79 bridge crossing.  Caution needed on the bottom of Birkhead Road (Steep downhill and then a steep uphill) where there is a low water bridge.  There is usually a small amount of water flowing across the road there.  And then you want to be in your lowest gear because you immediately go up a steep climb.  Not very long but if you’re not ready for it, you’ll be walking.

Weather Considerations: Ride will be cancelled if raining at start or if the weather forecast doesn’t look good. Please watch the weather forecasts and radar. Any doubts, Contact ride leader with questions.

Special Notes:  Gonna be hot today. Bring electrolyte drinks and snacks. Rest rooms available at Dames Park start.  Lots of rollers.
