RIDE Starting Location: Sailboat Cove, Creve Coeur Lake
Meeting time: 8:15 am
Time of Departure: 8:30 am
Description: A lively, primarily flat ride through St, Charles, New Town and around Smartt Field with options for 40+ miles, 50 miles and 60 miles

Special Considerations during this time:

  • Masks are not required to be worn when riding.  However, you may need a mask to enter a convenience market or similar business.
  • Stay home if you feel ill or think you may have been exposed to the Coronavirus.


From I-70

  • Rte 141 (Maryland Heights Expressway) south for 2.4 miles.
  • Left on Marine Ave. for 0.4 miles.
  • Right to Sailboat Cove parking lot.

From I-64/Hwy40

  • Rte 141 (Maryland Heights Expressway) north for 8.5 miles
  • Right on Marine Ave. for 0.4 miles.
  • Right to Sailboat Cove parking lot.

Cue Sheet: Sailboat Cove to Smartt Field w/construction detour

Be aware that St. Charles N. Main / N. River (“Dogpark”) Rd. is closed. The cue sheet now gives the alternate route.

Print cue sheet on both sides. Construction detour on back.

1. This ride usually attracts a large number of riders with diverse desired speeds and distances.  Ride leader will determine morning of ride, her distance to lead.  A volunteer, familiar with this ride, is needed to ensure no-one is stranded on the shorter options; it would be appreciated if someone who does not regularly lead would step up.

2. Ride is cancelled if it is raining at start time or if the roads are wet or flooded. Check the weather forecast and check this ride calendar for any updates on the morning of the ride. Leader may change start time due to forecasted excessive heat, rain or wind
