Depart at 9:30 a.m. from the Wal-Mart parking lot in Waterloo, Illinois for a 50-mile ride to Red Bud, Illinois. Directions: I-270/255 SE across the JB Bridge, exit Columbia/Hwy 3 south for 9.5 miles, right at Hwy HH for 0.1 mile, left into the Wal-Mart parking lot. Rest/Food Stop in Red Bud, Illinois. Meet at 9:00 a.m. to ride at 9:30 (Remember Daylight Savings Time Ends at 2:00 a.m. Sunday Morning at the Lewis and Clark Boathouse parking lot. We will use the cue sheet for the St. Peters Parish Picnic ride which is basically flat utilizing the Boschert Greenway trails near New Town. Ride is 35 miles and can be shortened. Bring a bike lock. We will ride to the church hall and enjoy a family style dinner with all of the food you can eat for $10. Directions: I-70 west into St. Charles County, exit 5th Street north for 0.2 mile, then right on Boone's Lick Road for 0.5 mile to the Boathouse parking area. Note there are no rest rooms available at the Boathouse parking area. Rest rooms are available at the Tourism Center which is located at the intersection of S. Riverside Drive and First Capitol Drive, approximately 0.5 mile from the Boathouse parking area. Directions: From I-270, exit at Dorsett Rd. West 1.5 miles to Marine Ave. Right (north) on Marine for about 1.3 miles to Sailboat Cove entrance. Options for 25 - 45 miles. Rest/Food Stop in New town. Directions: I-270 north to Riverview Blvd (exit #34), left (north) on Riverview Blvd for one block to Dunn Rd, left (west) on Dunn Rd for one block to the Missouri Visitor Center on the left. Options for 31, 36, 45, or 46 miles. Rest/Food Stop at the Culver's restaurant in Collinsville.
