Bouquet Road CLOSURE for Bridge Replacement Project
Bouquet Road will be closed from Monday, May 14 through August 11, 2018 to replace the existing one-lane bridge on Bouquet Road located just north of Cremins Road. The bridge location is approximately 0.6 miles from the Melrose Road intersection and approximately 2.3 miles from the Old Manchester intersection,

Directions: I-270 north to Riverview Blvd (exit #34), left (north) on Riverview Blvd for one block to Dunn Rd, left (west) on Dunn Rd for one block to the Missouri Visitor Center on the left. Directions: From I-255, take the Horseshoe Lake Road exit (exit #26). East on Horseshoe Lake Road for 0.6 miles. Turn right on United Drive, and then turn left into the Metro East Park and Recreation parking lot, directly behind Culver's restaurant. From I-70 east, exit at IL Route 157 (exit #11- Collinsville). North on Rt. 157 for 0.5 miles. Left on United Drive (the road just before Culver's), then a right into the Metro East Park and Recreation parking lot. from the Lewis and Clark boathouse for the trail, road and eat ride. A flat 32 mile ride beginning and ending on the Katy trail for the first and last 7 miles of the ride with the remainder of the ride on roads (so bring a bike you feel is appropriate for the surfaces) with a rest stop in Portage. After the ride we will gather at the BBQ establishment for lunch for a great meal. Directions: I-70 west into St. Charles County, exit 5th Street north for 0.2 mile, then right on Boone's Lick Road for 0.5 mile to the Boathouse parking area. Larry Essmann will lead the 30 mile loop and Pat Cannon will lead the extended 40 mile loop. Directions: 1-270 to Manchester Road, east on Manchester for about 2 miles to Geyer Road. Go south on Geyer for 1.2 miles to Kirkwood Park/Community Center behind the pool. Leader will ride just 20 miles. We’ll eat in West Alton at the “94 West Roadhouse” (very good pub food). Directions: Take Hwy 367 north. It becomes Hwy 67. Turn left (Hwy 94) at the stop light at The Pit Stop Gas Station (rest rooms). After left turn at stop light, continue main road through tunnel to the West Alton Baseball parking lot on the left. Check in at 8:45 a.m. for a 9:00 start. Meet at the Route 66 State Park. MoDOT has permanently closed the Old Route 66 Bridge between the east and west halves of Route 66 State Park. SEE NEW DIRECTIONS BELOW!
Directions: West on I-44 to the Eureka exit (Exit # 264), Left or south on Hwy 109 (Hwy W) cross under I-44 and immediately turn left onto the entrance ramp for eastbound I-44. Once you're on eastbound I-44, take the very next exit for Williams Rd. (exit # 265). Then take an immediate left on the south outer road. Follow the outer road east then turn left and cross under the two Meramec River bridges. Continue until the T intersection with the main park road, turn right and go a short distance (0.1 mi) to the parking lot with restrooms.
