 4 Dec Thur  RIDE CANCELLED  Tiemeyer Park (St. Ann, Mo) to U.City (2Aa and 2Ab)
Meet at 10:00 a.m./depart 10:30 for a 17 mile ride (round trip) to the U. City Loop. You may add 6 miles by circling the Forest Park Bike Path. We will eat at the St. Louis Bread Company on Delmar. Directions: Tiemeyer Park is between Adie Rd. and Ashby Rd. From Lindbergh, turn East on Old St.Charles Rock Rd. to Adie Rd. Go right on Adie. After several blocks turn Left at Ridgecrest and continue to the Park. If coming over Ashby Rd., turn West into the Park. Coordinator: Billie Teneau, 314-291-7860.   Cue Sheet  11 Dec Thur  RIDE CANCELLED  Trail, Road and Eat Ride (3Aa)
Meet at 9:00 a.m. for a 9:30 departure from the Lewis and Clark boathouse for the trail, road and eat ride. A flat 32 mile ride beginning and ending on the Katy trail for the first and last 7 miles of the ride with the remainder of the ride on roads (so bring a bike you feel is appropriate for the surfaces) with a rest stop in Portage. After the ride we will gather at the BBQ establishment for lunch for a great meal. Directions: I-70 west into St. Charles County, exit 5th Street north for 0.2 mile, then right on Boone's Lick Road for 0.5 mile to the Boathouse parking area. Note there are no rest rooms available at the Boathouse parking area. Rest rooms are available at the Tourism Center which is located at the intersection of S. Riverside Drive and First Capitol Drive, approximately 0.5 mile from the Boathouse parking area. Ride will be cancelled if temperature is below 32 at ride start time. Meet at 6:15 p.m. leave at 6:30 for a LEISURELY RIDE around Kirkwood to total 10 - 15 miles at most, weather permitting. Hot Chocolate and light snacks at leader's home after the ride. Cue sheet will be provided on ride night. We will go in a light mist but NO GO in heavy rain, snow, ice or temps below 20°F. Required: Helmet and lights, rear and front, even better on the helmet. Meet Kirkwood Community Park near the pool. Dieections: I-270 to Manchester Road. East on Manchester for about 2 miles to Geyer Road. South on Geyer for 1.2 miles to Kirkwood Park/Community Center, park behind the pool. Coordinator: Laura Gerren, 314-984-9180. Please leave message and I will call back.
