Road Closures

Bouquet Road CLOSURE for Bridge Replacement Project
Bouquet Road will be closed from Monday, May 14 through August 11, 2018 to replace the existing one-lane bridge on Bouquet Road located just north of Cremins Road. The bridge location is approximately 0.6 miles from the Melrose Road intersection and approximately 2.3 miles from the Old Manchester intersection,

Directions: From I-270, exit at Dorsett Rd. West 1.5 miles to Marine Ave. Right (north) on Marine for about 1.3 miles to Sailboat Cove entrance. Options for 25 - 45 miles. Rest/Food Stop in New town. MEET AT 8:00 for 8:30 start. Leave from Kirkwood Community Center to Grant’s Trail, up Union Rd and through South City for a 25 mile ride with lunch at about mile 15. Russell’s serves sandwiches, soups, salads, and wonderful bakery items. Seating inside or on the patio. After lunch you have the rest of the ride to burn off your treats. Directions to Kirkwood Park. I-270 to Manchester Rd. East on Manchester for about 2 miles to Geyer Rd. South on Geyer for 1.2 miles to Kirkwood Park/Community Center, park behind pool. Sign in at 8:15 am for an 8:30 start. Don't miss this favorite bike ride. Meet at the Forest Park Visitors Center parking lot. Directions: The Visitors Center is just east of the History Museum off Lindell Blvd. Parking lot behind the administration building. This ride is approximately 27 miles. After riding around Forest Park, we will go through U City and eventually ride on the Olivette bicycle path to Stacey Park. Then it's on to Midland where we ride downhill to U City for lunch at Bread Company. Then home to Forest Park.(Shorter option omits ride around Forest Park). Rest stop at shelter in JB Park with water and restrooms. Lunch in Kirkwood after the ride a block north of train station at McArthur’s Bakery. Directions: I-270 to Manchester Road.
